Continued appeal for potential witness to fatal collision

Hampshire Police are continuing to appeal for a potential witness to a fatal collision in Sherfield English.

Roy Baker, 22, from West Dean, Wiltshire, died after his black Honda motorbike was involved in a collision with a beige-coloured Mini on the A27 Salisbury Road at around 3.15pm on Sunday 7 April.

Following the collision, officers received information that a vehicle had slowed down at the scene to drive around the collision site before continuing on towards Romsey.

This vehicle has now been described to us as a dark-coloured BMW.

PC David Hazlett said, “We don’t believe this vehicle to be involved in the collision, but think the driver could be a witness to what happened as the vehicle drove around the collision site shortly after the incident happened.

“If you were driving this vehicle please call us as we want to know what you saw.”

Please call police on 101, quoting 44190120636, if you were this driver or you know who this person is.
