The Government has announced that free rapid coronavirus testing will be available to everyone in England from 9 April. People without symptoms are being encouraged to take regular twice weekly tests to help prevent outbreaks and help us reclaim a more normal way of life.
How it works
- People aged 18 and over can collect 2 packs of 7 lateral flow device test kits from a test site.
- There is no need to book an appointment.
- Testing should be done twice a week.
- Step-by-step instructions are included with the test kit.

Kits can be collected from the Regional Testing Site at Shepherds Spring Lane car park in Andover. The sites is open in the morning for appointment-only testing for those with COVID symptoms. Following a deep clean, the site will re-open for people without symptoms to collect the test-at-home kits.
