The Barclays Andover branch, previously located on High Street, officially closed its doors on 17th May 2024. This closure marks a strategic shift as Barclays adapts to the evolving banking habits of its customers and the growing trend towards digital financial services.
Despite the branch closure, Barclays remains committed to serving the Andover community. Efforts are underway to establish a new permanent Barclays Local location. In the interim, Barclays has implemented a temporary solution to ensure uninterrupted support for its customers.
Mobile Banking Van Services
From today, 20th May, and every Monday in June, a mobile banking van staffed by Sarah and a colleague will be available to assist customers. The schedule is as follows:
- Today, 20th May: Outside The White Hart pub until 3:30 PM
- 3rd, 10th, 17th, and 24th June: Outside the Guildhall, High Street, Andover from 10:30 AM to 3:30 PM
