An event successfully launched last year is returning to Andover’s High Street this coming Sunday, to appeal to both experienced and budding horticulturalists.
On Sunday 30th June 10am-2pm, the Andover Gardening Fair will bring together plant producers offering a range of high quality herbaceous perennials, shrubs, ornamental grasses, herbs, ferns and alpines.
As well as plants, there will be stalls offering landscaping products, garden furniture and accessories, natural beauty products and delicious home-made cakes, preserves and pickles.
Gemma Thompson, Andover Town Centre Events Manager is organising the event and explains: “At the Andover Gardening Fair you will meet owners and growers who really care about their plants and products, and offer the interesting as well as the unusual. Visitors to the Fair will be able to discuss their gardening requirements with our horticultural experts and then source plants directly from small local suppliers offering great diversity, quality and value for money.”
The local Allotment Association will provide information and advice on growing your own Veg and the Andover Trees United Children’s Zone will keep younger visitors entertained with face painting, seed planting and crafts.
Sing for Fun will be performing throughout the day with refreshments available from The Fizz Tin and Hogget & Boar BBQ.
Entry for visitors is free. For more information visit our Facebook page @AndoverGardeningFair or email enquiries@andovergardeningfair.co.uk
