This year’s Hatherden Fete is Saturday May 18th and it’s bigger than every before.
This impressive annual event at the Wildhern Playing Fields features the ever popular dog show, stalls and stands and live music in the afternoon.
Supported by Andover Radio and featuring singer-songwriter Alex Krupa, local schools, a gym and dance schools are performing in the main arena through the day.
The event starts at 1pm with a mixture of side-show attractions, but the dog show in the afternoon is expected to capture the attention of the anticipated 1,000 visitors over the day.
Chris and Karen Green from Conholthill Kennels are hosting a gun dog show in the afternoon.
There will be performances from Ruby Slippers Show School and Louise Vincent School of Dance as well as displays from Xion Gym based at Picket Piece.
Later in the afternoon there will be live music from local artists Alex Krupa, Jayne Deer, Pete Doonan and Graham Russ. Live music will be in a separate stage area as local radio station 95.9FM Andover Radio broadcasts live.
A tug-of-war between teams as well as a beer, Pimms and Prosecco tent will be available.
