John Hanson Community School have celebrated with fifteen of their Year 7 students smashing the target for 300 achievement points by the end of the year.
In previous years, a select set of students from Years 7, 8 and 9 have collected achievement points across the year for their continued hard work and achievements in lessons and around school.
These students have been invited to a special afternoon tea with their parents, the governors and the senior leadership team in the summer term.
Mrs Webb, Head of Year 7, said “This year, not only do we already have fifteen with 300 points, but we also have two extra special students who have each received over 600 points!
“The two have received a Head teacher award commending them for their outstanding achievement and all will be invited to this summer’s afternoon tea.
“The bar is now well and truly raised for the new Year 7s who join the school in September!“
