Local firm Kudos Coffee has won the Muddy Stilettos award ‘Voted Best Café in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight’!
An amazing achievement by a firm that’s only been around for a few years. Rob and co are absolutely dedicated to two things: Good coffee and great customer service.
Their dog friendly coffee shops are impeccably designed, the staff are really friendly and the coffee shops are always in a beautiful location. Today, I get the chance to speak to the owner, Rob Good, on his recent success and what it means to him.
Adam: Hi Rob – Congratulations on your win! What does it mean to you to win this award?
Rob: It’s always nice to be recognised for your work, and this is a fantastic achievement for the whole team and reflects all the effort they put into their work everyday.
Adam: Also – another congratulations is in order as you’ve recently opened another branch of Kudos coffee, into the village of Stockbridge- how’s it all going?
Rob: It was a little worrying at first, but things are going really well now. Opening during a pandemic and then having to close three weeks after, wasn’t ideal.
We started the process of taking on the unit pre-covid, and of course going into lockdown did have us concerned, but we have loved coming to Stockbridge. We’ve wanted to come here for years and knew it was the perfect location for us, so had to keep going and ride out the storm until things calmed down.
We’ve also had such great support from local residents and other businesses in the area, it made things so much easier once we were up and running fully.
If you’ve never visited a Kudos Coffee Shop – you should! The coffee, goes without saying, is incredible, but also…..try one of their cakes or savouries, in particular the sausage roll….thank me later!
