This week, Naomi House & Jacksplace hospice has launched their annual ‘Make Your Will Fortnight’ scheme to allow local people to make a single or joint Will with local solicitors in return for a donation to the hospice charity.
‘Make your Will Fortnight’ takes place from Monday 28 October to Friday 8 November. During this time, law firm, Parker Bullen Solicitors will waive their basic or standard Will writing fee in return for a donation to Naomi House & Jacksplace. A further 20 law firms are taking part across Hampshire, Wiltshire, Dorset, Berkshire and the Isle of Wight.

Everyone can benefit from making or reviewing their Will, particularly if you have recently moved house, had children, divorced, retired or married. In doing so, you will be helping hundreds of seriously ill children, young adults and their families from your local area and across central southern England.”
21 solicitor firms from across the south are taking part in the ‘Make your Will Fortnight’ campaign and staff at Naomi House & Jacksplace hope that the scheme will raise more than £20,000 to fund care for the region’s most medically complex and ill children and young adults. This is enough for our Family Support team to be able to be there for up to ten families, offering crucial post-bereavement support following the unimaginable and painful loss of their child.
People wishing to take part in Naomi House & Jacksplace’s ‘Make Your Will Fortnight’ should contact their chosen solicitor between from 28 October and 8 November. Please note that appointments do not have to happen within this time frame, you just have to book the appointment within the two weeks. Calls made before or after this date will not be accepted.
