Andover Police are investigating a serious assault in Andover which happened shortly after 8pm last night (Tuesday 28th March 2017).
A 30 year-old man was being treated for stab wounds to his leg and torso after he was found on a pathway in the St Anne’s Road and Suffolk Road area by a friend.
He has been taken to Southampton General Hospital for treatment to the serious, but not life threatening injuries. His condition is described as stable.
Officers believe that the victim may have been assaulted by another man. At the moment, Police are treating the assault as an isolated incident.
