Hampshire Police have issued a statement about the incident earlier this morning on Roman Way involving Counter Terrorist Specialist Firearms Officers.
You may have noticed our officers in Florence Court, Andover, this morning.
We attended after getting a call at 11.45pm on Sunday 20 August about concerns for the welfare of a man inside a house.
Officers have now arrested a man. He is currently in police custody.
Due to the circumstances and what had been reported to us, armed officers were deployed, although we did not believe there was any wider threat to the public.
