Today Skye Winford, aged 9 convinced her parents to allow her to cut her hair off for The Little Princess Trust. Heading down to J4K in Andover High street, Skye allowed hairstylist Shelbie to cut 14inchs of her hair off.

The school girl wanted it to be donated to The Little Princess Trust, telling Andover Radio 95.5fm I wanted to do it because I know that they will use my hair to make wigs to give to little girls who don’t have hair because they’ve been poorly.

she added ” I wouldn’t like to have no hair at all so at least this way me and another girl get to have hair”

Stacie told Andover Radio 95.5fm “I feel very proud of her for wanting to donate her hair and thinking of others. Not liking how grown up she’s looking now though” Stacie went on to say that they hope people will be able to donate to The Little Princess Trust, Stacie and her family will be making a donation when they send her hair off.

Such a massive change but she loves it, so if she’s happy then I’m happy!”

Well done Skye, we here at Love Andover think you look fabulous.
