As most school kitchens start to reopen, what will happen for parents that have been receiving the free school meal vouchers from the Government Edenred system ?
- If your child is in school every day then they will be able to choose a daily hot or cold picnic bag and vouchers will no longer be provided. You can send your child in with sandwiches, but this is your choice, and vouchers will no longer be sent out.
- If your child is coming in for part but not all of the week, you will receive a voucher according to how many days your child is in, and these will be ordered a week in arrears, so you child’s school know how many days to order for.
- If your child is not coming in to school at all, then you will continue to receive the free school meal vouchers from the Government Edenred system in the usual way.
