Spate of Andover burglaries being investigated

Police in Andover are investigating a number of commercial burglary incidents.

Local radio station 95.9FM Andover Radio has been informed that officers are investigating a number of break ins at industrial and commercial premises in the town on Tuesday evening (6th November 2018).

It is understood that Stannah Lefts, Mitutoyo and Lee Filters have been burglarised.  Other businesses may also have been affected.

Stannah Lifts at West Portway, had £230 stolen from inside at some time overnight on the evening of 6th-7th November.

Mitutoyo, also at West Portway, had an unknown quantity of money stolen, as well as electrical items including laptops and mobile phones. This occurred some time between 8.55pm and 9.15pm on 6th November.

Andover Radio also understands that a person (or persons) gained entry to Lee Filters at Walworth Industrial Estate around 7.40pm that evening.

Anyone with any information is encouraged to call police on 101.
