TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE – ORDER
Highways – Temporary Road Closure from Test Valley Borough Council in Test Valley area.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that The Borough Council of Test Valley as agent for Hampshire County Council (being the Traffic Authority) has made an Order to allow safe access to replace manhole cover and frames in the carriageway :-
ROADS TO BE CLOSED Part of Ibthorpe Road north of its junction with A343 The Dene to its junction with Dolomans Lane.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES From the southern point of closure, south on A343 The Dene/The Square/Newbury Road, west on Mays Down Lane, north on Hatherden/Hungerford Lane, further north on Conholt Hill, west and south on Vernham Street/Ibthorpe Road to its northern point of closure and on the same roads in the opposite direction.
PERIOD OF ORDER From 10 July 2017 for a period of 3 months or until completion of work, whichever comes first.
DURATION OF WORKS The road is expected to be closed from 10 July to 14 July 2017 between 7.30am and 5pm each day.
Pedestrian and reasonable access to adjoining properties will be available.
