The festival, organised by Katherine Bird, Cat Randle and Dmitrijs Meiksans, will be highlighting the incredible range of opportunities for young people in Andover.

“We are so excited to be able to bring everyone A-Fest again this year. We are thankful to Andover Baptist Church for letting us run the event from their broadcast studio” says Dmitrijs Meiksans.

A-Fest will feature young musicians, youth organisations and local businesses who are support both the event and the Andover community.

“We are delighted to have so many organisations returning, and it is wonderful to have so many new clubs joining us this year. It is always brilliant to see so many different groups with things to offer young people in and around Andover,” says main event organiser Katherine Bird.

In 2020 the festival moved from the High Street to online. When the organisers opened for bookings, spaces for the 2021 festival were snapped up.

“Last year, over 500 people tuned in on the day, and the video of the event is now available on Chat Together’s YouTube channel. Since September, the numbers of views have steadily grown to almost 750” said Cat Randle A-Fest organiser.

The A-Fest team are also building a directory of all of the opportunities for young people in Andover, which can be found on our website at http://afestandover.co.uk/directory.  Please do get in touch to add your organisation to the site.

The organisers are hoping that A-Fest will return to Andover High Street in September 2021 as long as it is safe and legal to do so.
