Vegan festival comes to town

InAndover are excited to be working with Aarde Events to bring this popular market to Andover for the first time.

This event promises to bring the best of local and national independent, vegan, and eco-friendly businesses together for a day of celebration of all things plant based. The new market will take place in the centre of town on Andover High Street on Sunday 2nd Oct, and is free for visitors to attend.

It will be open between the hours of 10am and 3pm and is expected to welcome visitors from near and far to enjoy all things plant-based and cruelty free. The market will deliver fresh and exciting vegan products and produce, from an array of vegan street food, baked goodies and sweet treats to sustainable fashion brands, cruelty-free cosmetics and beauty products, along with ethical arts and crafts stalls, to name but a few.

The event is part of Andover’s The Great Big Green Week activities which also include Andover’s Climate Day of Action, a day of action, working alongside community groups, schools and businesses to encourage and educate residents to pledge actions that could protect our environment and reduce their carbon footprint.

Daisy Botha, Founder of Aarde Events and Vegan Fairs organiser, shares: ‘We can’t wait to bring our Vegan Market to Andover. We have seen huge success with our Newbury and Salisbury markets over the last year and are so excited to be coming to Andover”.

Shelley Coburn, Events Co-ordinator for Andover Bid says “There is big trend towards more plant based and cruelty free products, and this event is for everyone looking to explore what’s on offer. It’s for those who are interested to making some changes in their diet and for vegans looking to shop local. We hope that Andover will welcome our vegan fair.”
