Kit Malthouse MP (North West Hampshire) visited the local Veterans In Action team, at the Old Grain Store in Andover, to discuss the recent work they have carried out and meet some of the veterans they have helped.
Kit met up with the charities founder Billy MacLeod and some of the team members to discuss the charities work recently that included brilliant work through COVID when the team assisted in delivering vulnerable people supplies and the teams effort in delivering supplies to Ukraine.
Speaking after the event, Kit said: “It was great to catch up with Billy and the squad from VIA. Alongside their really valuable work with veterans, their efforts during Covid and more recently their trips to Ukraine, make them heroes to many and a really important part of the Hampshire community.”
