Following news that The Weyhill Fair pub is set to close, Fueller’s the company that owns the pub have today told us that the pub is for sale.
Earlier this week The landlady of the Weyhill Pub announced on the pubs Facebook page that they were closing this Sunday 8th January 2023 citing poor Christmas trading and rising energy costs.
We contacted Fuller’s and a spokesperson for Fuller, Smith & Turner said: “For several personal reasons, our Tenant wishes to terminate her Tenancy Agreement early and we have agreed to help facilitate this move.
“It has also given us an opportunity to review our ownership of this site and we have decided to sell it and give someone else the chance of running this pub. We will be putting the site on the market with a hospitality estate agency and we hope that someone will quickly snap up this business and reopen it for the local area.”
