150th success for local business discount card

Lifestyle Card Christmas

Two Andover entrepreneurs are going from strength to strength with their loyalty and discount card.

Sean and Fiona Caruana have just signed the 150th business in Andover, which gives discounts to holders of The Lifestyle Card.

Sports Direct in the Chantry Centre have been announced as the card’s 150th partner.  The Lifestyle Card was launched in September this year.

Fiona Caruana says that supporting local business is really important, “It’s great to get discounts from large businesses, too.  We’re really pleased that the local manager got this big national company to participate.

“Lifestyle Card holders will get 10% of purchases, including sale items.

“We really want to keep everything local, supporting local businesses and local shopping generally. We don’t just target the large national companies, but we are mindful that people will want to have relevant discounts at many stores, including the national chains”.

Last week the couple launched a competition with local radio station Andover Radio where small local companies can win discount cards for their staff.  Businesses with 10 staff or fewer are invited to enter a draw to win a card for their staff and 2 months of free radio advertising from Andover Radio.

Businesses are encouraged to enter by texting LIFESTYLE and their BUSINESS NAME to 07418 310 959 (normal text rate).

Two winners will be chosen at the Small Business Saturday event at Walworth Enterprise Centre on Saturday (1st December).
