While millions of us tuck into our chocolate-filled advent calendars ahead of a season of indulgence and consumption, énergie Fitness Andover, Anton Business Park, launches its own unique ‘Abs-vent Calendar’, designed to help beat the festive bulge.

From Saturday 1 December and for 23 days after, the club will release a new video each day to help its members – and non-members – keep the pounds off this Christmas, while still being able to enjoy the party season. Sharing a combination of cardio, strength and full body focused workouts, the 25 minute high intensity interval training (HIIT) sessions have been created by énergie’s expert team to keep you motivated!

“We know the next month is packed with parties, drinking, eating and over-indulging, but it’s also important to stay healthy”, says Andrew White, Club Owner. He adds, “Everyone can spare 25 minutes a day to focus on their fitness, work up a sweat and then carry on with their day. The videos are simple to follow and combine a mix of body weight workouts and sessions which use a particular piece of gym equipment, offering something to suit everyone.”

Each day a new video will be released on the fitness club’s social media pages, which can be accessed by all and, for those that need extra help, the gym staff will be on hand to help.

Kelly Cahill, Fitness Manager at énergie Fitness Andover said, “As a locally owned fitness club, we take great pride in offering our members a personal and tailored approach to fitness that suits their lifestyle. We work with some of the biggest names in the fitness industry that benefit our members to get even more value for their money while leading a happier, healthier lifestyle.

“We hope people enjoy our advent calendar and, from everyone at énergie Fitness Andover, we wish you a Merry Christmas!”
