It’s all revving up as the festival of motoring moves into top gear ahead of Sundays Event.
The event also aims to raise money for local charities. The Festival of Motoring Facebook page has been having a poll giving the public the chance to vote of which charities will benefit from the proceeds from the event. Today the poll closed and the top 3 chosen, Vigo Primary School PTA (237 Votes), Balksbury PTA (177 Votes) and Countess Of Brecknock Hospice will benfit from this years event.
With over 300 vehicles confirmed for Sundays event, including the Batmobile the event will see the High Street and Vigo park packed with a huge range of vehicles.
The event starts at 10am and runs on until 4pm. Andover Radios Craig Hicks and David Harber will be broadcasting live from the event. There will be a funfair, raffle and loads to do.
