Andover Town Youth FC are holding their annual football fundraiser on Saturday 5th October.
With the permission of Lucy Rushton’s family, this year fundraising donations will go towards a break away for her family and children.
30-year old Lucy, “A beautiful mother, daughter, sister, niece, auntie and friend” died as a result of multiple injuries in June this year. Like many people in Andover, organisers at Andover Town FC were distressed at the story; feeling the pain of her family and five children they wanted to find a way to help.
Gates open at Portway Stadium open at 2:30pm where there will be food, drink and a raffle with loads of prizes available to win. The event is expected to go on until 10:00pm.
Event kick off is at 3:00pm with teams are made up of the youth team coaches.
