A fire ravaged two thatched cottages in Monxton last night.
Over 70 firefighters attended the blaze which started yesterday evening (3rd March 2018).
The fire started in the thatched roof of the adjoining properties and spread across two floors.
Thankfully no-one was injured in the incident.
Hants Fire say, “At its height, more than 70 firefighters from Hampshire, Dorset and Wiltshire were needed to tackle the blaze.
The work of the crews prevented the flames spreading to another neighbouring property.”
A fire investigation will now take place to establish the cause of the fire.
