Adventure golf has tee’d off at Charlton lakeside

A brand new, fun, and educational adventure golf course is now open at Charlton Lakeside in Test Valley!

Take a step back in time into Andover’s Iron Age past and challenge friends and family to an unforgettable game of crazy golf inspired by the town’s very own history!

This is not mini golf as you know it…

The Andover Museum of Iron Age have influenced the design of the course to ensure historical accuracy to create an engaging, educational theme for young children to challenge themselves and enjoy.

The course has also been designed to complement and blend in with the green areas that surround it. Situated alongside our beautiful boating lake and café with swan pedalos, play park, and pitch & putt course – enjoy a whole day packed with fun and adventure!

Places Leisure are delighted to have collaborated with Test Valley Borough Council to bring this idea to life providing the perfect opportunity to encourage children outside into the largest green space in Test Valley to simultaneously learn and play. As always, we love to promote activities that are fun for the whole family, from little ones to grandparents, and that gets people active and moving.

Test Valley Borough Council’s portfolio holder for community and leisure, councillor David Drew said: “Charlton Lakeside is one of Test Valley’s much-loved and well used green spaces – and I’m delighted that it has now been enhanced even further with this exciting new addition offering a great facility for families to have fun and enjoy the outdoors.”

This brand-new destination adventure golf at Charlton Lakeside does just that. Take as long as your group need to follow the course through to the end!
