April’s Farm held a MacMillan Coffee Morning on 3rd of October. There was plenty of delicious cakes and the farm was be open so that visitors could see all the animals. There were also games available for everyone to enjoy including Giant Jenga, Connect Four, and Table Football.
April’s Farm opened in 2019. It is located at Green Lane Farm, near Andover. A care farm and day care centre, its aim is to provide a farm experience for people with additional needs. Tasks involving animal care and farm work will help build self esteem, gain knowledge and new skills will be learnt.
James Waters who owns Aprils farm said, “A big thank you to everyone who came to the MacMillan Coffee Event today at April’s Farm. Your generous donations raised an amazing £240 for this worthwhile cause. Also, thank you to all those who volunteered to help make the day possible. Everyone from April’s Farm had a great day.”
