This November experience a little magic in your neighbourhood and take part in Test Valley Borough Council’s Window Wanderland experience, either as a window maker or just by wandering and enjoying the results!
Residents are encouraged to take part as window makers and to open their curtains and create window displays to amuse, entertain, and create a little magic for all to share. It is completely free to take part and everyone is welcome. A display could be as simple as a candle, book or fairy-lights in a window, it could recreate some lockdown artwork or share a favourite thing about winter. Anything goes… as long as it’s family friendly! Together these windows will form a wonderful winter walking trail, which everyone can participate in by coming out to enjoy.
The council has arranged a series of workshops for those who would like a little help in designing their window, and due to lockdown the remainderhave now gone online. There is still chance to book a free space on a zoom session at 10am on 14 or 21 November by emailing: events@testvalley.gov.uk by the Thursday before each session.

This is an informal trail with no start or end point, so families can take part where and when they want in a socially distanced and safe way, and enjoy a stroll in the fresh air at the same time. This is an opportunity for residents to get creative and then get outside to see the results!
