Resilient Andover business Photos2Print are leading the way in helping people in Andover get ready for Christmas.

The busy local print and gift shop on Bridge Street have yesterday (Wednesday 30th October) dressed their shopfront in festive decorations, while also agreeing to sponsor ‘Travel News’ on the town’s local radio station.

Photos2Print have been in continuous service for 16 years in town and they understand the challenges that having a retail shop off the high street brings.

“These guys know how to serve a marketplace”, says Andover Radio director Ben Tuffin. “They have adapted and amended their business model to suit the needs of the customer for years.”

The new Photos2Print Christmas window leads the way in Andover, as businesses now change from a ‘Halloween’ window to a ‘Christmas’ window.

To solicit for festive dinner bookings, many pubs and restaurants have had Christmas trees up since early September and our town’s impressive Christmas Lights Switch On in the High Street is a fortnight away – Friday November 15th.

Andover Radio has been working with local schools to find a Christmas Star to switch on next month’s lights and launch the impressive firework display.

Every season Photos2Print owner Lesley-Ann Simmonds puts her personal touch in to making sure their shop window is attractive and inviting.

Their singing polar bear is expected to make an appearance in the coming weeks.

The shop, run by Lesley-Ann and her husband Mark, have consistently changed their business model to meet the needs of the customer, while national companies like Jessops have failed.

“Local radio is great way for us to get our message out”, says Lesley-Ann. “We often get people coming into our shop saying they have heard our adverts which since 2010 have been recorded by our daughters Rhiannon and Annie.

“Our girls who now work in the shop are looking forward to hearing their new advertising campaign which focuses on ‘beating the congestion’ in Andover .”

Photos2Print – previously Cartridge and Personalised Print World – on Bridge Street adapt to meet the demands of customers. They offer printers, photographic solutions and digital image transfers. They also offer a range of gifts like photo frames and personalised Christmas presents for family and friends including printing on mugs, t-shirts and large canvasses.

“Mark and Lesley-Ann were among our earliest advertisers”, says Andover Radio director Ben Tuffin. “They really are a company that gives people what they want.

“They solve customers’ problems. Chelsea, Anthony and Mark totally understand what’s needed. They are friendly and knowledgeable. They are a shining beacon in Andover’s main shopping area.”

Photos2Print have previously helped support Love Andover Armed Forces Day, the Andover Proms and through their travel news sponsorship on 95.9FM Andover Radio they are supporting a range of projects which support disadvantaged local people and organisations.
