Easter FamilyLife Holidays

Camp Bestival at home for Easter.

Camp Bestival a multi-award winning festival that combines an all-encompassing family festival experience with an action packed camping holiday.

Currently, Camp Bestival has not postponed their summer festival but Camp Bestival’s Easter takeover at Dreamland has been postponed. This event has been postponed due to UK Government advice, BUT we can still enjoy the fun of the festival with our children at home this Easter.

This is what they promise us for the easter weekend

Our Stay At Home Easter Sleepover promises to be the funnest weekend we can muster for all our faithful fans on lockdown! From DJs and live acts, to comedy, crafting and family workshops, it’s all going on! Taking place over the Easter weekend (April 11th & 12th) from Saturday morning ’til Sunday evening across our social channels, its our mission to make sure we keep you and your families entertained in good old fashioned Camp Bestival style. Watch this space for the line-up coming very soon.

“We can’t all get outside right now, so we’re bringing you some of our favourite Camp Bestival acts for a Stay At Home Easter Sleepover. Josie and I know what its like to be cooped up with our darling children for weeks with no break, so we hope we can take your mind off the news and dive into a world of fun, music and family vibes. Forget about home schooling for the weekend and join us for a one-off Easter extravaganza!” Robby & Josie

Make sure you’re ready for the sleepover by setting up your front room camps and dens, and dusting off the fancy dress box so we can all get dressed up together in CB festival style. We’ll be bringing you some top tips over the next few days so stay tuned.

We’re also going to be helping raise funds for Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust and The Trussell Trust during our Easter Sleepover. If you’re enjoying the entertainment this weekend and are able to spare anything, please look out for the donation links. Massive thanks in advance to all the amazing acts and artists who have donated their time to contribute to the Easter Sleepover direct from their homes.

The Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust

The Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust is a national charity that supports young people aged 8-24 to rebuild their confidence after cancer.

Cancer recovery is as much about what happens after treatment as during. That’s why when treatment ends, the Trust’s work begins, as for many young people simply picking up where they left off before their diagnosis just isn’t possible.

Through sailing and outdoor adventure trips, young people can rebuild the confidence to get back into education and employment and to make new friends, all with the permission to have fun and enjoy being the young people they still are.

Young people are supported long-term through the long, emotionally draining process of recovery as they have the opportunity to come back for trips year-on-year, with the possibility to volunteer, and inspire other young people like them, once they turn 18.

The Trussell Trust

The Trussel Trust is a charity that works with a network of more than 1,200 food bank centres across the UK to provide emergency support to people with no money for food and work towards a future where no one needs a food bank.

More and more people are being forced to food banks because there’s nowhere else for them to turn. Last year the food banks in The Trussell Trust’s network provided 1.6 million three-day emergency food supplies to people in crisis and over 500,000 of these went to children.  This was an increase of almost 20% on the previous year. Your generous support means food banks will be able to continue to provide the lifeline of emergency food to people in crisis.
