Beautiful fluttering butterflies and busy buzzing bees
Hedgehogs, rabbits, birds, plants and thousands of planted trees
Harmony Woods, a beautiful spot, an everyday stroll for many
Wild flowers , dog walkers, bushes, trees and lots of different berries
The old oak tree on the Green welcomeswinter’s visitor Robin Redbreast
Then early in the springtime other birds will come back there to make their nest
The green leaves on the old tree gives us shade on a hot summer day
Or shelter from the teeming rain should it happen to come our way
Augusta Park, a new housing development
is an area that is so vast
Built on what was Nature ‘s Wonderland for many years in the past
When the building started many creatures were scared away
But now, a few years later and they’ re coming back to stay
Once again we awaken to birds singing their morning song
And trails of slime in the garden where slugs and snails have been along
A kyte is often spotted high up in the sky
Or greedy starlings, seagulls and pigeons flying noisily by
Yes, there is some traffic but its noise is far outweighed
By all the natural beauty we are lucky enoughto have around us every day
