Make May the month for barbeques and alfresco dining at the Artisan Market

May’s Andover Artisan Market will be held in the High Street from 10am to 2pm on Sunday, 20th May.

Make the most of the sunshine with opportunities to buy for barbeques and summer picnics from Greenfield Pork Products, fish and shell fish from Selsey Willows, charcuterie from Parsonage Farm and cooling summer beverages from Rutts Lane Cider and The Gin Stall.  Then treat yourself to scrumptious patisserie from Brownbread.

Alongside the cornucopia of food stalls you can visit Love From Betty, Candle Delites and Andover Photographic Club, as well as new stall holder, Flopsy Cotton Socks – sock craft kits brilliant for children.  The RSPB and Woodland Trust will also have stalls to share information about their work.

Leader of the Council, Councillor Phil North said “The May Artisan Market is packed full of stalls providing something of interest for everyone.

“The warm weather is the perfect inducement not only to come and browse and stay awhile in the High Street, but also to stock up with locally produced food to share with family and friends.”

The market will be supported with music in the Time Ring from local singers, Maddison Douch in the morning and Chris Berntsen after lunch.

The Andover Farmers’ and Crafts Markets are held on the third Sunday of each month throughout the year.
