The new Co-Op store opens on Thursday 12th April with a special preview event on Wednesday 11th April between 5pm and 7pm.
Invitations have gone out to local residents and local community groups including the current recipients of the Co-Op Local Community Fund. This is where members who swipe their membership card can earn back 5% on Co-Op branded products and local community groups get 1%.
Since the scheme has launched the Co-Op has given over £5,000 to 9 local groups.
The store will open at 7am on the Thursday with the official launch at 10am.
