Clap for our NHS

It’s time to show how much we appreciate our NHS staff.

Across the UK, a round of applause will be taking place this Thursday (26th March 2020) to say thanks to those who are working tirelessly during this coronavirus pandemic.

‘Clap for our Carers’ is asking for people across the UK to stop what they are doing and to give a round of applause at 8pm, regardless of where you may be.

Their poster is being circulated over social media and says, “During these unprecedented times [workers] need to know that we are grateful.

“Please join us for a big applause from front doors, garden, balconies, windows, living rooms to show all nurses, doctors, GPs and carers our appreciation for their work.”

The group ask that social media users share their information, through the hashtag #ClapForOurCarers
