With around three months to go, the Andover Carnival team is busy planning and preparing to bring the biggest party of the year to the town.
This year’s carnival will take place on July 16th at the Vigo Recreation Ground, and it promises to be a day filled with family fun, music, food, crafts, and smiles.
The Andover Carnival team is incredibly grateful to all of their sponsors, but in these times of financial uncertainty, they need more support from the community. They are calling on the good people of Andover to spare whatever they can afford and click the link to donate to the carnival.
The cost to put on the Andover Carnival is approximately £12,000, and it’s entirely self-funded. This cost includes arranging road closures, insurances, porta loos, security, the main stage, and a lot more. It also involves endless hours of voluntary man hours by a small group of the committee.
Every year, the Andover Carnival team works tirelessly to bring the community together and provide a day of fun, food, and music. They are dedicated to making the carnival a success, but they can’t do it without the support of the community.
This year’s event is all about raising funds for great local causes Koala and Me & My Dad Club. So, by donating to the Andover Carnival, you’re not only supporting a fun-filled day out for the whole family, but you’re also making a positive difference in the community.
Stalls are still available, and it’s cheaper than you might think to be part of the festivities. With an estimated crowd of 8,000-10,000 people, it’s a great chance to promote your cause or sell your wares. To participate or for more information, email carnivaltony@hotmail.com or carnivalkev@hotmail.com.
The Andover Carnival team is committed to making this year’s event a day to remember for everyone involved, and they’re calling on the community to come and be a part of something special. Let’s show our support and help raise as much money as possible for these great local causes.
So, mark your calendars for July 16th, and let’s all come together for a day of family fun and community spirit!
