Swimming Hats and Awards
Swim England is the national awarding body for teaching qualifications and learn to swim awards. All our learners will be following the national curriculum in the four frameworks; Foundation Framework, Learn to Swim Framework, Aquatic Skills Framework, Adult Framework. More details about these programmes can be found on the Swim England website.
Everyone in our swimming lessons will be required to wear a swim hat. The hat colours represent the class the swimmer is in and children can look forward to being given a different coloured hat when they complete a swimming stage. There will be stage badges and a range of complementary skills badges too.
