Today, Sat 4th July, we were delighted to be part of the select few who were invited to the official opening of The Rockhouse pub in Andover. Guests included local Test valley councillors, patrons of The Abel Foundation Chris & Nid Britton and celebrity adventurer Jordan Wylie.
The Rockhouse is a not for profit venue, where every penny that they earn goes straight back into a range of community project that benefit own town.
Tony Noakes, gave a few words of thanks to Test Valley Borough Council for all the support that they have given towards The Rockhouse, which was followed by the cutting of the ribbon by Cllr Phil North , Cllr Iris Anderson and Cllr Karen Hamilton.
The not-for-profit venue has recently benefited from a £5,000 Test Valley Borough Council Community Asset Fund Grant to enable them to transform the back room into a free to use community space – including better lighting and an accessible decking area.
The Rockhouse reopens to the public this evening at 1900. They ask that you please follow their guidelines to protect yourself and others who visit the venue at all times and be respectful towards each other.
