Vaccination appointment transport for the Test Valley

Unity Andover minibus drivers wanted

People needing some travel assistance to Vaccination Clinics can make use of a local charity’s transport services.

Unity, the voluntary action umbrella organisation (CVS) for the Test Valley, has today (4th June 2021) announced that it will be offering transport to vaccination centres for those who are unable to drive or access public transport.

Throughout the lockdown period Unity Transport has operated limited services that have supported local residents in accessing Medical appointments and local vaccination clinics.

With the change in focus now from local vaccination centres towards larger centres in more centralised locations Unity Transport are pleased to have secured funding that will enable them to continue to carry those who are unable to drive or can not access public transport to the vaccination centre they have been asked to attend.

A Unity spokesperson said, “It is vitally important that we continue to offer a transport service to those who would otherwise find it difficult to travel to their vaccination appointments”.

Bookings can be made via the Unity Transport dedicated booking phone line on 01264 356808 or email: transport@unityonline.org.uk

Unity Transport are the service provider for the Call and Go services within the Test Valley region.
