Andover Events FamilyLife

Where can Andover families visit to see lambs?

Lambs are one of the first and most eagerly awaited signs of spring. Sheep have their lambs in late winter or early spring.

Places to visit

Finkley down farm, Andover

01264 324141

You can help bottle feed the lambs at Finkley down farm.

For the first several weeks of life, lambs depend on their mothers as their primary food source. Since ewes often give birth to two or sometimes even three lambs, the smallest lamb often doesn’t receive adequate nutrition. When it is not possible to find a ewe to take on the lamb,  The staff at Finkley take on these lambs to bottle feed and use a commercial sheep milk replacer.
