Young Andover entrepreneur confirmed as finalist for Inspire Business Awards

17 year old Dmitrijs Meiksans of Demo Consultancies has made the shortlist for Young Business Person of the Year at the Inspire Business Awards 2023

The Central South Business Awards, in association with Business South, celebrates all the remarkable businesses in the region – and the people that work for them.

Demo Consultancies is a multi-media marketing agency, supporting businesses and organisations with their marketing requirements, such as graphic design, social media management, website design and event-planning, working with the Andover NHS PCN, The IncuHive Group, Unity and Hampshire County Council.

Nearly 100 entries came in for this year’s awards – and business stars and successful companies in the Basingstoke and Deane, Hart, Rushmoor and Test Valley areas found out who had made the final cut at a special event at the Apollo Hotel, Basingstoke, on Monday evening.

Finalists were announced in 11 categories – and now they will go through to a second round of judging when sponsor judges will visit each of the finalists before deciding who the winner of each category is.

Dmitrijs, the owner of Demo Consultancies, said, “Thank you very much to the judges for making me a finalist at this year’s awards – running a business at 17 is definitely a challenge, but one that I absolutely love to keep battling through with.”

This is the second award Dmitrijs and Demo Consultancies are up for, having secured Future Talent of the Year at the Central South Business Awards in October last year, after running the business for the last three years.

The winners will be announced at a new-look awards ceremony, which this year is taking place at The Anvil, in Basingstoke, on Thursday, July 13.
