3 Peaks: Nicki Grimison

3 Peaks Challenge Nicki Grimison Valley Leisure Andover

Nicki Grimison has worked for local charity Valley Leisure for almost 13 years.

She says, “I am very proud to be a part of the team that is dedicated to improving the health and wellbeing of the community that I was born in.”

Nicki is taking part in the Three Peaks Challenge in July and along with six others will be put in some not insignificant effort to raise money for six local charities; Unity, Andover Young Carers, Andover Neighbourcare, Riding for the Disabled, Anton Rotary Club and Valley Leisure’s own I Can Therapy Centre.

“The results that our I Can users are receiving from regular use of the Centre are undeniably assisting with their everyday lives, which I want to ensure that we at Valley Leisure, continue to improve and enhance the experience and service we offer.

“Raising money for I Can will be good use of my spare time and reward me mentally and physically in this challenge set before us.

Sponsorship forms are available from the Unity offices at Andover Bus Station.

Accommodation for the expedition has been booked in Fort William (Ben Nevis), kindly funded by DF Mobility, The Lion at Clanville, Aldridge Vehicle Services with Burbidges Bakery providing funds for food and sundries.
