Andover Museum is running a history writing competition for all age groups in Andover to record what lockdown has been like for you.
They tell us, “History isn’t just facts. How did people like you think and feel in the past? We don’t know because they didn’t write it down for us. Help the future know about us.”
To enter they are asking you to write up to 1000 words about what lockdown has been like for you. They will keep all entries for future historians to use.
The promise prizes for best entries. The Closing date is the 29 October 2021. This competition is open to any age but under 18s will need parental permission for your writing to be kept and displayed at the Museum.
