Connect4Summer was first delivered in 2019 by Susan Parish (Park Community School) and Jan Lefley (Romsey Community School) across Hampshire and on the borders of Southampton and Portsmouth. This was funded by the Department for Education Holiday Activities Fund.
2021 will be the 3rd year that they have run Connect4Families and whilst adhering to Covid restrictions they successfully ran a programme during Easter 2021 at Longmeadow Day centre and Knights Enham . The funding this year has been distributed to local authorities by the DfE and in partnership with Hampshire County Council they are running a series of one day Family Festival Days Test Valley and they are are also running Youth Projects.
The Family fun day is due to take place on Sunday 1st August at the Phoenix centre in Andover.
The Youth days run from Monday 9th August until Thursday 19th August.
