Ladies’ Choir concert this Friday

Andover Ladies Choir

Andover Ladies Choir are excited to be returning to The Lights for their summer concert this Friday (July 12th 2019).

Featuring a wide selection of feel good songs from shows and films to traditional folk songs, ‘Fields of Gold’ is in the main auditorium at Andover’s entertainment venue.

If you love Andrew Lloyd Webber, Abba and Rogers and Hammerstein then choir founder Clare Minting says this is the concert for you. The choir was formed two years ago and has raised thousands of pounds for local charities.

Clare told 95.9FM Andover Radio “We’ve raised lots of money for local charities, we have performed in the Mayor’s concert and for the Anton Rotary Club in their very first fundraising concert for The Countess of Brecknock Hospice last year, which we are also performing in again this coming October. That performance will be at St Mary’s church.

“We have saw success at our very competition in Bath where we were commended for all our classes.

“At Friday’s event we will be raising money for Andover Mind and Andover and District Mencap.”

Dressed in their trademark pink and purple, enjoy Andover’s very own three-part harmony ladies choir as they take you on a musical journey down the Moon River to Shenandoah and beyond.

With very few tickets left, you can book tickets here.

You can hear more about Andover Ladies Choir on 95.9FM Andover Radio tomorrow morning (Tuesday).
