Andover fire crew were out at the Chantry Centre today using the loading area to train and test themselves and their equipment.
There was no need for shoppers to be concerned though as the team tested their various ladders and techniques to get access to the varied roof structures – something that could save valuable seconds in a real emergency.
Firefighters are always looking for further premises to train in – empty or closed.
