Customers at Sainsbury, Shepherd’s Spring Lane, Andover responded generously to volunteers collecting food for the Andover Foodbank on Saturday 8 June.
A massive 579.88kg of food was donated together with £49.98 in cash. This was the largest supermarket collection to date in 2013.
Andover Foodbank would like to thank all who helped to achieve this impressive figure. The food donated will be used to help those in crisis across the Test Valley.
