A man has been arrested after ploughing into an A303 service station.

The 43-year-old driver from Ireland was detained by police on suspicion of drinking driving following an incident at the Buck Service Station last night.

Police were called to the petrol garage, located on the A303 near Longparish, at 10.30pm after a Peugeot van crashed into a pump.

A police spokesperson said: “We were called at 10.30pm last night to reports of a single vehicle collision at Buck Garage on Basingstoke Road.
