Mobility services to open from Tuesday

Local charity Unity which provides mobility services including scooters will be resuming service again from tomorrow (13th April 2021)

The charity behind the Test Valley Coronavirus Helpline says, “After a busy year adapting to the many changes that various lockdowns have forced upon us… Unity have now reopened the Unity Mobility service based at the Bus Station, Andover.”

Unity Mobility is open 5 days a week, 9.30am -2.30pm from Tuesday to Saturday. 

However, due to Covid restrictions, Unity can only accept advanced bookings by telephone or through their newly launched Unity website where individuals can book online for the first time!   

Unity Mobility have a range of equipment to cater for all needs, whether it’s a trip around the shops, a short term injury or a weekend away with family, Unity can offer you a equipment to suit.

Their new longer-term hire service can now offer delivery and collection too, so you don’t even have to leave the house.

At the same time, Unity says that the ‘Changing Places Toilet facility’ for people with disabilities, will also be open for business.
