Police are appealing for information and witnesses after spate of criminal damage as cars parked in Stockbridge, Broughton and Kings Somborne were damaged.
On the evening of Tuesday, November 5, more than 30 incidents were reported where cars were damaged when stones or pebbles were thrown at them. Officers believe the offenders were in a car and may have been using a catapult to throw stones at the cars.
Sergeant Russ Hodges said: “We would like to hear from anyone who may have seen a dark-coloured hatchback car being driven around and things being thrown from it.”
“I would also appeal to anyone who knows anything about this spate of damage and who may be responsible for it, to get in touch.”
Anyone with information is asked to contact Sgt Hodges on 101 or call the Crimestoppers charity anonymously on 0800 555 111.
