Weyhill Electronic Organ Society will be staging its next concert, on Thursday 18 April, at a new venue and under a new title.
After almost 22 years, the Club’s base will be relocated from Weyhill to Andover at the White Hart Hotel in Bridge Street and will operate under the title ‘MUSIC at HeART ‘. Guest artiste will be the popular TONY STACE from Northallerton, making his eighth appearance for the Club.
Tony began playing at the age of nine and received much encouragement and tuition from his father and they would often practice until the early hours of the morning – much to his mother’s consternation! However, his efforts were well rewarded as he won many competitions and joined the electronic keyboard circuit at the age of eighteen.
Just a few years later he had the privilege of playing on the Mighty Wurlitzer in the Blackpool Tower Ballroom and has performed in Switzerland on several occasions. In addition to his concert tours, he is also known for organising many popular annual electronic keyboard festivals around the UK.
Further information about Tony can be obtained at www.tonystace.co.uk, whilst Club details can be viewed at www.weyhill-eos.co.uk or by phoning (01264) 323213.
The concert commences at 7.30 p.m., with the doors to the concert room opening at 7.00 p.m. Admission is by TICKET ONLY, available in advance from the Hotel at £8.00 (inclusive of interval refreshments).
