Another Cardea Milestone

Celebrations continue with Andover residents, Mr & Mrs Polley receiving a bouquet of flowers from the Cardea Manager, Nicki to mark a year in the life of the local Home Support Service, Cardea Ltd.

John and Judith said “Returning to Andover after twenty years absence,  we were lucky enough to discover Cardea. We came here after a year of challenging health issues and really needed to work on improving our health and morale. From the beginning, we felt at ease with Nicki who effortlessly married our needs with her knowledge of the range of local opportunities. Our introduction to I Can, for instance, was the first step on the way to the improvement of our general well-being, offering as it does a friendly atmosphere and well-structured exercise”

It is through Cardea’s link to Unity that clients have a value added opportunity to be signposted to one of the many local charities and community groups across Test Valley and the I Can Therapy Centre is just one of over 800 groups known to the organisation.

The Cardea service is continuing to grow at a rate of knots supporting people in the own homes helping them to feel less isolated and able to access the help they need to remain independent.

“Our team go that extra mile to help people and the testimonials we receive from local residents confirm that we are working hard to ensure people are provided with the best care we can give.  The Unity services have a part to play in this as their community based services offer a wide variety of other benefits too which is quite unique to a home support service.”

Cardea’s reputation for high quality services is proving popular and their specialist Hoarding and Decluttering service is going that extra mile to improve people’s health, well-being and independence too.
