As clear as glass I’m flowing,
Through time I’ve lost my footing,
Ahh! I’m going down down down.
Meanders I go through bends and turns,
Time has passed since our last meeting.
Fellow people (friends) thank you
For being my friend.
I feel calm and relaxed
Anything that means the pike are my fighters,
The kingfishers my spies in the sky.
Wahoo! I’m gushing down a water rollercoaster.
Ahh! Faster and faster like a cheetah running.
Slowly slowing down in the wind like a sloth.
Look at me all polluted,
Please help please!
Stop polluting me like animals in a river.
I’m not like a bin, so
Stop treating me like a bin.
Birds’ reflections I can no longer see,
Because you need to use the bins OK- not me!
You are hurting me now.
I’m fed up of people using me like this.
But still underneath,
I’m a giant
And burning stars.
Inside I’m never ending.
